Pixies announce Spokane tour stop | Arts & Culture
Just one week after releasing their first album in 22 years, the Pixies have announced 2014 tour dates. The iconic band will be stopping in Spokane on October 3rd.
The band disbanded in 1993 after releasing five albums. In 2004, they reunited and started touring again. The band secretly began recording Indi Cindy in 2012, and it was released on April 29th. Because founder Pixies bassist, Kim Deal, decided to leave the band shortly after work started on Indie Cindy, the band will be performing with a variety of touring bassists.
The Pixies will take the stage with Royal Blood at the INB Performing Arts Center on Friday, October 3rd. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 9th at all TicketsWest outlets, ticketswest.com or by phone at 800-325-SEAT.
