Spokane Arena celebrates 20th event season

The Spokane Veteran's Memorial Arena is kicking off their 20th event season Thursday night with a rock and roll blowout featuring Boston and Night Ranger.

Over the next year, Spokane can expect to see a variety of incredible promotions and special announcements celebrating 20 fantastic years at the Arena. Guests will also notice some decorative additions to the facility, highlighting the biggest performers, bands and sporting events hosted at the arena since their first season in 1995.

“Twenty years of great events is really something to celebrate,” said Kevin Twohig, CEO of the Spokane Public Facilities District. “We've shattered records with the US Figure Skating Championships and have hosted more NCAA Division 1 Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments than any other site in the country since the year 2000.”

Matt Gibson, General Manager of the facility added, “We have welcomed some of the biggest names in entertainment to our city, and now we get to thank the fans for supporting these events. We can't wait to start celebrating!”
