Ben & Jerry's scoops up free cones Tuesday | Business
It looks like Tuesday will be the warmest day of the year so far, and Ben & Jerry’s has the perfect way for you to celebrate. Tuesday is National Free Cone day, and the scoopers at Ben & Jerry’s in Riverpark Square have been hard at work training to dish up your favorites.
Ben & Jerry’s started Free Cone Day to celebrate their flagship store’s first anniversary back in 1979. Since then, it’s been their way to say thank you for keeping their ice cream churning.
You can stop by Riverpark Square for your free cone on Tuesday, April 8th, from 12 pm-8 pm. Rumor has it that KXLY 4’s Robyn Nance, Derek Deis, Aaron Luna and Kylee Cruz will be just a few of the local celebrity scoopers, along with Dave, Ken and & Molly, Jackie Brown and Dan Roberts from 92.9 ZZU.
While all the scoops of ice cream are free, Ben & Jerry's will be collecting donations to benefit Inland Northwest Honor Flight.
