City Council will discuss city's mission statement | Events

For tonight’s meeting, a few items stand out on the weekly agenda. They’ll be reviewing the city’s “Vision, Values and Mission Statements”. The current statement was adopted in July 2007 and they’ll be adopting the new one that you can view on page 175 of tonight’s agenda.

“Openness - Our actions are transparent to all our citizens and ourselves.”

During the administrative session, city council will also be approving a $56,440 contract with Greater Spokane Incorporated to “improve and enhance the community by driving job creation and corporate investments...”

This may be a few weeks old, but wifi is now available for the council chambers. The codes are being published on the front page of the weekly agenda packet. This is good news for anyone that's ever hoped to bring their laptops or iPads.
