SPS Offers Summer Registration For New Students
Parents or guardians of new elementary and middle schoolers can register their students at the Spokane Public Schools Administration building, 200 N. Bernard, weekdays from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. through Aug. 18. High schools are open throughout the summer; call your neighborhood school for hours.   To register, bring a birth certificate or other verification of age and the student’s immunization records. Registration forms are available at the administration building, and are now available online as well.   Kindergartners should be 5 on or before Aug. 31. To help kindergartners get excited about school, SPS provides each with a special, brightly colored tote filled with educational activities that families can work on together.

To find out which school boundary an address falls within, check the school locator or call 354-5900.

Check the Registration section of the SPS website for more information about getting ready for kindergarten, full-day kindergarten and Express childcare.
