Gonzaga Mojo Brewing In Antarctica | Sports & Recreation
In case you were wondering, the men and women working at Antarctica's science and military facilities do have the ability to watch the NCAA tournament. We interviewed Jack Green last month about his work in Antarctica.
The Gonzaga fan originally from Spokane says their televisions get ESPN so they'll be able to watch Gonzaga's game versus West Virginia.
The game is on at 4:20 p.m today. One strange thing to note about Antarctica, it's actually Friday down there due to time zones. That minor technicality won't stop Green from cheering on the team. He says crews even watched the Superbowl, when it aired on their Monday.
Green wrote on Facebook for the above photo, "Here is a little South Pole Mojo for the Zags. Now go and beat West Virginia. GO ZAGS!"
