Parks & Rec Seeks $150,000 Loan For Golf Fund

City Council is voting on a resolution that would allow the Golf Fund to take a short-term loan of $150,000 from the Park Fund. The resolution addresses a cash-flow problem.

Since the golfing season is just starting out, City spokesperson, Marlene Feist says there is no revenue at this time of year. The cash from this loan would help the golf courses get up and running.

Feist added that the revenue numbers from last year weren't as good.

The loan would be re-paid within 90 days.
